Empowering You to Higher Health
What We do at Empower Chiropractic
Personalized Care Designed To Fit Your Individual Needs
Chiropractic Adjustment
The Chiropractic Adjustment is the primary method of treatment at Empower Chiropractic. Adjusting the spine relieves tension, eases pain, and improves the overall function of your spine. All joints have a proper motion that contributes to how we move and feel. When a joint sustains damage or becomes inflamed we can lose that optimal motion, feel pain, or even become sick putting our body in a state of tension or dis-ease. After a comprehensive assessment determining where the joints may lack movement to function properly in your body, Dr. Brunner can provide a gentle, specific adjustment to restore proper motion of the joints returning the body to a state of ease and health.
Decompression
Decompression treats disc herniations and disc bulges causing radiating arm or leg pain, numbness, or tingling. By applying traction or a pulling force gently and in control of the spine, this treatment can effectively decompress the spine. We at Empower chiropractic strive to treat you with evidence-based care and state-of-the-art technology!
Soft Tissue Therapies
Muscles and ligaments can play a role in joint mobility as well as a source of pain. Our therapies are all aimed at improving how you feel and how you heal. Therapies can include Electric stimulation, ultrasound, laser, and soft tissue mobilization. These are typically coupled with Chiropractic care to provide better outcomes for patients. At Empower Chiropractic, we strive to provide you with the best care possible and will always be upfront about what will help and what to expect with your care!
Applied Kinesiology
Applied Kinesiology is a technique that utilizes manual muscle testing to identify specific dysfunctions in the body. By applying manual pressure against resistance, Dr. Brunner can assess the nervous system's ability to respond appropriately to stimuli. This technique becomes useful for people with injuries such as Sciatica, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, sprains/strains, tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, carpal tunnel, hip or shoulder impingements, and rotator cuff pain, numbness or tingling. Applied Kinesiology helps Dr. Brunner develop a bigger picture about what's going on with the body in order to deliver more precise and necessary care.
